Start your journey east to Malang town – an attractive town with leafy boulevards and cooler climate. Enjoy touring with a visit to the 350-hectare Prigen’s Safari Park where animals can be seen in their natural habitat. Explore Malang - Cathedral Building, Old Mosque, Birds Market and City Hall. Visit Candi Singosari, an ancient temple at Singosari Village, before proceeding to Batu Highland that has spectacularly beautiful scenery. Stop by Transport Museum, the largest transport museum in South East Asia, and an apple farm, and continue to Sidoarjo, known for its multifarious sea fishes and Tanggulangin, famous for its leather handicraft center and the beauty pattern of embroidery and cloth.

Malang’s average temperature is 26.9 °C and annual rainfall is 1950 mm. Regardless of the seasons, Surabaya and Malang are hot and humid. Hot temperature and high humidity can make one feel clammy so light cotton clothes are essential.
The seasons in Surabaya and Malang are as follow:
- Dry – May to September are months when Surabaya and Malang are more dry. As this period has the minimum rainfall and is ideal for sightseeing, it is the peak tourism season.
- Rainy – October to April are months when Surabaya and Malang experience more rainfall and sightseeing becomes more difficult.
