Stopover at Nabalu Market, a small town located at the foothill of Mount Kinabalu for some local fruits and handicrafts before continuing the journey to Ranau and visit Poring Hot Spring where you can take a dip in one of the tubs filled with running sulfured water rising from the earth’s depth and soak in the self-mixed warm water believed to have therapeutic effect. This morning check out from the hotel and proceed to Bako National Park established since 1957, is the oldest and one of the most popular national parks in Sarawak, the excursion takes about one and a half-hour by land and boat, with an area about 2,728 hectares and it offers the perfect introduction to Sarawak’s forest and wildlife. Here you can guarantee to see wildlife such as long-tailed macaques, squirrels, white bearded pigs, silver leaf monkeys and 17 trails provided; ranging from 0.2 km to 5.75 km, here you can almost find new experience in each different trail. Long House and Hot Spring Tour
After breakfast, proceed to visitAnnah Rais Longhouseone of the most famous Bidayuh Longhouse in Sarawak, which located about 100km east from Kuching city and quite closes to the Indonesia border. The excursion will take about one and a half hour on the road. You will see the villagers doing their daily chore like rice pounding and winnowing, basket and mat weaving, bamboo carving. You will be brought into the most unique and important structure, the “Baruk” or the head house, which situated in the middle of the longhouse and they will use this as a fort to protect the whole village from being attack. Inside the “Baruk”, you will be able to view human skulls hanging around the fireplace in the middle and their sacred war drum. Thereafter transfer to the Hot Spring, there are few spots where the hot spring water seep out from the stream bed and flow together with the stream water. Take an hour drive to Bau– The Gold Mining Townfollow by Serikin,a favorite haunt for bargain hunters-ideally located at Sarawak-Indonesia Border. Here you can find the verities of jungle produce, the antiques, and handicrafts such as wood and bamboo carving, mattress, clothing and many more items offered for sale. After lunch, tours continue to Fairy & Wind Cave. Fairy Caveis about 3-storey high, quick climb through the cave with torchlight, the cave opens into a main chamber. Sunlight streams into the chamber, enabling you to view the limestone formation of several types. View the beautiful and some eerie shape of nature creations, the stalactites, and stalagmites. There is a formation that has been likened to the Goddess of Mercy which at about 3 meters in height resembles a woman dressed in classical Chinese robes, look down benignly upon worshippers. Another formation looks like an old man crouching down. Then proceed to the Wind Cave, walk along the platform, you will find that this dark tunnel like cave is filled with bats and swiftest. Day 2: Kuching - Iban Longhouse (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Hotel check-out and tour to Semenggoh Nature Reserve, travelling overland (30 min) follow by a brief hike through dipterocarp forest, the Orang Utans are set free in a 653-hectare forest reserve and young Orang Utans, who were either orphaned or rescued from captivity are trained to survive in the wild. You will be able to catch a glimpse of the Orang Utans during their feeding time and spot their delicate nests; watch their skilful movements at the treetops and their interesting behaviour during feeding time. After lunch, continue to TraditionalIban Longhouse Safaribegin with a 4 hours car ride passing through the scenic greenery countryside. The vast land on both side of the road are can be seen dotted with vegetable farms, Padi fields, rubber, pepper oil palm and cocoa plantations which generated some of the top revenue earner crops of Sarawak. Have a brief stopover at small native town called Serian for chance to experience the busy daily wet market and witness some of the rare jungle produce brought by the native from the deep jungle to sell to the town folks. A brief lunch break will be at “Lachau” – small popular “cowboy” town for Indonesian natives from the nearby Kalimantan border town to do barter trade without the proper document. Boat ride journey varies depending on which longhouse and water level of the river from 20 min to nearly an hour. Upon arrival at the Longhouse, you can tour around the longhouse while the “semi-wild” boars and hunting dogs running nearby.
